History of ELSO group
1999: Foundation of the holding company
The ELSO Group history begins in 1999, when the ENERGOSBIT company was founded in Saint-Petersburg. At that time the company included wholesale department, which was involved in regional city trade of equipment, and retail store "Mir Vodonagrevateley".
2001: Penetration into the market, offering installation and maintenance services of heating equipment
In 2001 ENERGOGASMONTAZH (EGM) service company was founded. The company’s activities were the following: installation, warranty, service and post-warranty maintenance of the heating equipment. From 2003 the ENERGOGASMONTAZH company has extended its activity to design and installation of power supply systems for industrial facilities. Till the end of 2005 the company was involved in service maintenance of industrial facilities and private clients. The company provided services in 3 main fields: heat supply, gas supply and water supply.
2003: Foundation of the Group of companies: 3 departments became separate companies
In 2003 ELSO ENERGOSBIT, the retail trade department became a separate company. Every year the company’s retail chain has been expanding, setting up new branches in regions. Wholesale branch of ENERGOSBIT was opened in Moscow.
2004: dynamic development of the group of companies and great expansion of the branch infrastructure
Within 4 years the Group's turnover quintupled. Introduction of new "territorial" strategy of ENERGOSBIT: the customers were provided with stocks and trading centers just at their regional territories. New wholesale branches of ELSO ENERGOSBIT were set up in Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod.
2005: establishing of own production; ENERGOSBIT is leader in sales of the VAILLANTTM equipment.
LADOGA, the Group’s factory, was put into operation in Tula to manufacture LADOGAS, gas water heaters. The factory is equipped with modern assembly line with multistage quality control system. The ENERGOSBIT company is exclusive distributor of this equipment and one of the main cofounder of LADOGA, Group’s factory.
Over the period from 2005 to 2008 ELSO ENERGOSBIT had great sales performance of the VaillantTM equipment and the company was given the status of Vaillant’s Partner No 1 in Russia. Also, new branch of ENERGOSBIT was set up in Rostov-on-Don.
2006: department of installation of heating systems in low-rise buildings became separate company; Penetration into Kazakhstan market; Consolidation of all companies under one brand - ELSO; ENERGOSBIT is leader in sales of the BAXITM boilers.
In 2006 ELSO ENERGOCITY was founded. The company’s core business was to install heat engineering systems in cottages and apartments. EGM company became a specialized company in construction of high-powered industrial boilers and gas supply for large industrial facilities.
New branches of the ELSO ENERGOSBIT company were set up in Samara and Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan.
The Groups’ company acquired its name – ELSO Group -. New name describe the company’s main activities – ELSO -: Energy Saving and Local Systems Of Heating.
From 2005 to 2008 the ENERGOSBIT company had great sales performance of the BAXITM boilers, and the company was given the status of the Leading Trader of the BAXITM products in Russia.
2007: Foundation of independent Service & Installation Centre providing individual customers with heating systems; entrance into the Ukrainian market; dynamic development of the ELSO group branch infrastructure
In 2007 the ENERGOSERVICE company was founded. The company’s core business is to offer individual customers accessible and high-quality services in heat engineering: installation, maintenance, commissioning of heating equipment and selling of spare parts.
New branches of the ELSO ENERGOSBIT company were set up in Novosibirsk and Kiev, the capital of the Ukraine. The ELSO ENERGOCITY company started to penetrate into the regional markets of Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don.
From 2007 the ENERGOSBIT retail chain started to operate under the ENERGODOM name. New name is related to change in the company’s stores concept. ENERGODOM stores are centers for integration of engineering systems and heating equipment. Today there are 8 ENERGODOM retail stores in Saint-Petersburg.
2008: the company extended its activity to construction of main outward gas/oil pipelines
Construction and installation company SPETSMONTAZH was founded. The company was involved in construction, maintenance and repair of main outward distributive gas/oil pipelines and networks, and installation of associated technological infrastructure (industrial and heating boilers).
The ENERGIYA company was founded as affiliated investment company to allocate financial resources in the development of new technologies and manufacture of heat engineering systems. The branch of ENERGOSBIT was set up in Kazan.
2009: ELSO Group celebrates its 10th anniversary!
At 10th anniversary the Group moved into its own Business Center in Saint-Petersburg. The Business Center has been under construction more than 2 years. The center occupies the area of more than 2 000 m2 and accommodates Saint-Petersburg branches of ENERGOSBIT, ENERGOGASMONTAZH (EGM), ENERGOCITY, ENERGOSERVICE and management company ELSO ENERGOSBIT.
2010: ELSO group today...
Today ELSO Group is one of the most powerful holding in the heat engineering market, providing full range of appropriate services: design, integration, distribution, installation and maintenance support of heat/water supply equipment. ELSO Group includes 8 companies, presented in allied segments of the market. Activities of every company are mutually complementary. All the problems can be solved with using the resources available in the holding.
The regional representation offices were set up in Krasnodar, Ufa and Novorossiysk. ELSO ENERGOSBIT arranged heavy-duty vehicle fleet.
